Founded in 2000, Warm Colors Apiary is an 80 acre farm located in South Deerfield, MA, owned and operated by Dan and Bonita Conlon. The farm is 11 miles from the UMass campus.
Warm Colors Apiary produces honey and beeswax candles, offers educational programs and beekeeping supplies, and aims to encourage bee population health and regeneration. Dan was recognized as Massachusetts Beekeeper of the Year in 2005.
Their mission is "...to promote the art of beekeeping, provide our customers with the finest all natural products, and to practice farming methods that protect and sustain the land."
The farm believes "honey is one of the earth's most perfect foods" and is committed to sharing it with their community in a healthy and sustainable manner.
