Little Leaf Farms

Little Leaf Farms is home to one of the most technologically-advanced, lettuce growing greenhouses in the world, providing some of the freshest baby lettuce available in New England to UMass.

They use natural gas-powered heating, utilize natural sunlight, and capture 100% rainwater. The farm is committed to sustainability with a 10-acre greenhouse established in Fall 2015 and focuses on sustainable development.

They strive to achieve sustainable development, defined as "development that meets the needs of the present without compromising the ability of future generations to meet their own needs."
