Bob Bankert

Originally from New York, Bob Bankert grew up in his family's restaurant. He attended New England Culinary Institute where he earned a BA in Food & Beverage Management. Bob joined UMass in April 2014.

Bob oversees the culinary operations at Hampshire and Berkshire Dining Commons, where he monitors recipes, production, and food cost. Bob takes pride in keeping the menus fresh and in season.

In his spare time, Bob enjoys running, traveling, brewing beer at home, and spending time with his family.
